The Calm Before the Storm

The rest of the summer may not be very action packed when it comes to Apple news. But there's plenty ahead come the Fall.

All of the announcements and rumours have been dropped. New iPhone 6 with two screen sizes. New Apple-made smartwatch. New iPads and iPods in line with the new iPhones. The IBM Partnership. iOS 8 and Yosemite. Moral of this story: Apple didn't let us in on their plan slowly. The fact is, it's time to start stashing your spare change in the piggy bank. September/October will be here before you know it . . . introducing some fantastic new tech and toys that you are going to want. This week I present a picture gallery of all the best and newest Apple tech.

Patents have been filed on the iWatch, although there has still not been an official announcement.

Bigger, better iPhones are on their way, due most likely in the Fall.

The new Mac Pro has arrived on the scene and is putting all the custom made rigs to shame. It boasts over twice as much power as the computer it's replacing in some specs and is just an overall juggernaut (albeit a small quiet one).

iPad Air and the rest of the iPad line should be getting a small performance upgrade later this year to go along with the release of iOS 8 and Yosemite.

Apple's new cooperation and partnership with IBM will be bringing many new opportunities to businesses and enterprises later this year, along with the new firmware changes.

I feel as if Apple's old logo is an appropriate end to this post.

Apple is returning to its innovative roots. The roots that led them to put a personal computer in nearly every home and to create a market for smartphones and tablets. Apple has forever changed the way the world communicates, creates and competes. And while that level of innovation may never be repeated on the same scale, they sure are trying hard to reignite the flame.
