Hello Dunn&Co,

Its great to finally get together!

The team here at SCOUT is excited to be working with Dunn & Co. We’ve worked with many of the advertising and creative agencies across Tampa Bay, so you may have seen us before (we rebranded from CORE in January of this year).

Before we jump into the technology related goodness, introductions are in order.

Introductions aside, let’s dive into the good stuff! Troy and the leadership team at Dunn&Co is bringing SCOUT IT onboard to assist in modernizing, securing, and supporting the technology infrastructure. This project consists of three major components; network hardware replacement, Apple device management featuring Jamf Pro, and a Google G Suite deployment for email and collaboration (no more GoDaddy!). We’d you to take a moment and read below about how these technology impact you.

Network Security

We believe every IT infrastructure begins with a solid foundation, your network. This is a single point of entry into your digital assets and digital communications. In order to provide a stable, secure, and robust network we choose Cisco Meraki as that foundation.

Each floor at Dunn&Co has its own network infrastructure, including three dedicated wireless access points per floor. These provide improved coverage, load balancing, and more graceful handoffs when you are moving around each floor.

Apple Device Management

In order to achieve SOC compliance any device used to access corporate data needs to meet specific security requirements, this includes mandating password policies, disabling automatic logins, backups, among many other items.

Jamf Pro allows us to proactively maintain and secure your fleet of workstations. In addition we leverage a piece of software called SCOUT Recon to provide monitoring and reporting on over 100 system resources and potential issues on Mac, Windows, and Linux systems, such as storage errors, malware, and backup status

Collaboration

Finally, we are migrating to Google’s G Suite for email hosting and collaboration. This will provide IMAP email which will allow email and folders to sync between your devices. Also, G Suite will have unlimited storage for all your email and other documents. G Suite also provides Google’s productivity apps and chat functionality as well.
